Prescot Cables 2-2 Hyde United

Jordan Wynne celebrates his goal for Prescot Cables against Hyde United

Former Cable Dominic Marie returned to Volair Park to haunt his former club with the decisive goal as Hyde United recovered from 2-0 down to earn a point.

Josh Klein-Davies had come the closest to scoring in the first half with the Cables forward striking the post before the game sprung into life at the start of the second period, a fine low strike from Lloyd Dean giving Cables the lead.

A second soon followed as Cables took control of the game, Jordan Wynne finishing an excellent counter attack turning in Southworth’s cross.

Tom Pratt halved the deficit on 72 minutes breaking the offside trap and finishing superbly before substitute Marie snatched a share of the spoils in similar fashion
