Knowsley Residents Given Chance to Sample The Cables Experience

Prescot Cables exists to provide access to non-league football of the highest possible standard, to the residents of Prescot, Knowsley and the wider Merseyside area. Narrowly missing promotion in a play-off final and winning The Liverpool Senior Cup for the last two years running shows we are heading in the right direction.

The Club is now providing a number of complimentary Family passes that can be used at any future Prescot Cables League Fixture for the remainder of the 2018/2019 season (this excludes Cup games).

The goal is to provide tickets to organisations or individuals who may use the tickets themselves or distribute to families or individuals that may never have experienced a match at Prescot Cables previously or to families or individuals who may be unable to afford to attend a sporting event. The aim is to give Knowsley residents a chance to experience the high quality football that is available in the Evo-Stik semi-professional league. Whilst some will see this as a cost effective alternative to Premier League offerings, others will see it as an opportunity to watch football whilst their main team (such as Everton or Liverpool) are playing away.

The tickets may be used by a family of up to 2 x Adults and 3 x children. However, the tickets can also be redeemed and used by lone individuals. two adults or children attending alone. Children aged 12 and under need to attend with a parent or guardian.

It is hoped that the tickets will be distributed to or sought by individuals or families that would enjoy or benefit from this experience and have never been before. Charitable or Community Organisations may apply for tickets to distribute or be given away as raffle prizes. A number of tickets, with a nominal value of over £3000 have already been provided to Prescot Town Council and a local Voluntary Organisation for distribution in the Prescot area.

Prescot Cables FC now intends to open this scheme beyond Prescot to include the wider Knowsley Community and surrounding area and is looking to distribute tickets via Charitable or Community organisations and KMBC outlets. The club is working with the Knowsley Borough Council Communications Dept. to publicise the scheme and to assist with the distribution. Hopefully as a result, residents from across the Borough will have the chance to enjoy for the first time what we know to be a great local sporting experience at Cables.
