Vote for your Pesky Bullon d’Or 2018 winner!
The CablesNation fans group, commonly known as the Fence enders, has reopened voting to crown this year’s Pesky Bullon d’Or winner.
The award, designed to crown the team’s ‘peskiest’ player of the year, will be presented to the winner following the home match against Trafford on 22 December.
Last season’s winner, Lloyd Dean, romped home with almost a quarter of the votes and received his award from representatives of the group.
After a year which has included a run to the play off finals, a second successive Liverpool Senior Cup win and a strong start to this season, there are plenty of potential winners to choose from.
Fence ender Mike Rice said, “The Bullon d’Or is unique compared to other awards, because we’re not necessarily looking for the best player or most improved. Since we first coined the term ‘pesky’ everyone has made their own interpretations of what this means and that is what we’re looking to celebrate”.
Voting will close at midnight on Sunday 9th December. Voting is open to all, including the players and coaching staff, but limited to one vote per person.
For updates on the vote, follow @CablesNation on Twitter and keep up with the discussion in the Prescot Cables FC Chat group on Facebook.
