Statement Regarding Joe Herbert

Please see a statement below from Manager Brian Richardson regarding the departure of Joe Herbert.

“I would like to put on record my thanks to Joe Herbert for his time at the club whilst I have been here as manager. Joe is a reliable and dedicated player who has travelled back from Loughborough for nearly three years in support of the cause for Prescot Cables FC. Had I picked my teams on all round top lads, Joe would have been in there every week. Unfortunately he’s not been playing enough and feels at this stage of his football career we have too many centre-backs to allow him to play as many games as he would like. We all wish Joe all the best and he leaves with the best wishes of the Team.”

The club would also like to put on record our thanks to Joe for his hard work and commitment to the club, and we wish him every success for his future

In addition, Reece McNally, a fans’ favourite from last season, will be playing at Northwich Victoria for three games due to a suspension at their club. This will help Reece gain valuable games in his desire to get back to full match fitness.
